So, my brother finally graduated from Cal Poly Pomona. It's been five grueling years, but it's he's finally done! Yes, he likes those stupid aviator sunglasses. We pretty much had to pry them off his head for a decent picture that we can print to hang up on the wall.

Then I went to Yosemite and hiked Half Dome! Man, was that a trip. 9-10 hours, but I made it to the top! On my way up at the cables, this lady who was descending said to me, "Honey, you should really reconsider this. It's only going to get harder and there is a long way to go." WHAT?!?!?! I've invested so much time, sweat and pain to get this far, I am not quitting. It was well worth it.

Did I say 9-10 hours? I meant 2 minutes and two kicks later. I risked my life for this shot.
Then came Susan's graduation at UCLA. Congratulations, Susan! It was four grueling years for you, too. Speeches made by the professors: yawn. Speech made by Danica McKellar (Winnie of the Wonder Years): charismatic.
Yes, that is her with Susan. I honestly didn't like the show Wonder Years that much. I never gave the show more than 5 minutes before I changed the channel. I wonder if I would enjoy it more now.
Of course, with all the festivities and catching up with old friends, I didn't check the schedule to see when summer school started at Csula. Apparently, it started a week earlier than I anticipated. To lose a week of life, let me tell you, really sucks. I wasn't prepared for any of the classes I was slated to teach, I wasn't even planning to show up to the classes nor my judo class. Schedules had to be re-evaluated, substitutes were needed at short notices - what a headache. Times two because I lost a week!
I completed my physiology class at UCLA. Afterwards, I just sat outside in front of Powell library for two hours. Extension classes had their finals the week after graduation. The campus was very still and abandoned, but that was how I liked it. This is my second time leaving the campus.
